Sonic Foundry Embarks on World Tour

The Sonic Foundry crew is in the midst of a whirlwind two months as it exhibits, records and presents at several conferences around the world.

  • Kuwait EDUTECH 2012

When: Oct. 9 to 10

Where: Kuwait

This is the biggest educational event dedicated to the development of education in the State of Kuwait. It targets global school facilities involved in the planning, design, construction and management of public and private educational facilities.

  • Sloan Consortium’s International Conference on Online Learning; Booths 217 & 219

When: Oct. 10 to 12

Where: Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The conference provides online learning professionals the latest research and best practices in online and blended learning programs. 

Sonic Foundry is the Coast to Coast Technology Sponsor and will record select sessions for live and on-demand viewing.

  • PCMA Capital Chapter: Planner Forum

When: Oct. 11

Where: Washington, D.C.

Sonic Foundry’s Event Services Program Director John Pollard will present on  how to create high-value hybrid events from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST. When: Oct. 11 to 12

Where: Reston, Va.

The annual EDUCAUSE conference is the premier gathering for higher education IT pros. It provides content and exploration into today’s technology issues facing campuses around the world. Sonic Foundry’s VP of education Sean Brown will present “Sonic Foundry’s Roadmap for 2013 and Beyond” on Nov. 8. Sonic Foundry is a Platinum Partner and will live stream the sessions via Mediasite. 

  • Ascilite

When: Nov. 25 to 28

Where: Wellington, New Zealand

Education is facing a number of challenges. Questions remain about the impact of new digital technologies on learning and teaching and the sustainability of current teaching models. The Ascilite 2012 conference will discuss educational challenges in the wider context of sustainability. Sonic Foundry is a sponsor and exhibitor at the conference.

Where: Berlin, Germany

Sonic Foundry is excited to sponsor ONLINE EDUCA, an international conference on technology supported learning and training. It’s the largest e-learning conference for the corporate, education and public service sectors.
